Whale employees lend a hand in the fight against COVID-19
As part of the ongoing efforts to combat COVID-19 throughout the world, Whale has been responding to a significant increase in demand for products within its portable sanitation range. Whale manufactures a range of manually operated foot pumps that are used in portable hand sanitation units.
Although production at Whale’s facility in Bangor, Northern Ireland, has been suspended, a team has been pulled together to support this essential need. While strictly adhering to the UK Government’s social distancing policy, the team increased capacity by a factor of three and will continue to meet this increasing demand over the coming weeks to help in the fight against COVID-19.
Whale Managing Director Patrick Roberts said “In responding to the increased demand for our Babyfoot pumps, we were keen to take this opportunity to play our part in combatting the spread of COVID-19 around the world.
