Adrian Flux Insurance has launched a free service that allows its customers to keep track of all their insurance policies and contact details on one convenient, secure web site.
Dubbed ''My Insurance File'', the service can hold details of all insurance policies for the customer, across virtually all insurance companies and all types of insurance - car, household, personal effects and health insurance, life assurance and even pet insurance.
How organised is the average person about their insurance? Not very, according to a number of recent studies by the insurance industry. Few people can lay hands quickly on the insurance details they need in the event of a claim, let alone the correct documents.
Explaining the need for the new service, Gerry Bucke, Commercial Director of Adrian Flux, emphasises the importance of having everything to hand when disaster strikes: "Insurance is probably the most important time when you want to have your personal details all in one place and available where you are", he points out.
My Insurance File allows you to store the details of all your insurance policies together and get at them from anywhere with internet access, with full security. It''s a really handy way of managing your cover on everything car, house, medical, even pet insurance if you like.
