Wellhouse Leisure donate a Proace Matino Campervan to support BBC Children in Need

Toyota and Wellhouse Leisure donate a Proace Matino camper to support BBC Children in Need’s 2020 Appeal 9th-15th November

The campervan is part of a ‘Campervan and Staycation Goodies’ prize package that will enable the winner to have a year of adventures that they will always remember.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club have donated free family membership for one year, plus 12 weekend breaks (two nights for up to four people) at its UK campsites for a holiday every month.

Other prizes that have been donated include outdoor sports equipment from Decathlon Sports; a £300 voucher from Cotswold Outdoor; family outdoor clothing from Dare 2 Be; 10 year family Kidspass; one year family membership from British Cycling; a £150 Gift Card from Hardrock Café; a chocolate gift package from Lindt; plus family tickets from seven UK attractions – West Midlands Safari Park, Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts, Diggerland, Go Ape, Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Flamingoland, and Edinburgh Zoo.

The Toyota Proace Matino by Wellhouse Leisure is a four-berth campervan with a luxury specification for comfortable staycations at any time of year. It has a kitchen with fridge, sink and gas cooker, a rear seat that unfolds to become a double bed, a pop-up roof containing another double bed, a programmable heater to keep the interior warm and cosy all year round, plus a 80W solar panel to keep its leisure battery charged if camping off-grid. Electronic gadgets can be charged using the 12v or 240v sockets and USB points, plus for extra privacy, there’s dark tinted rear windows.

There’s plenty of room to travel with four people and any gear, such as bikes or other leisure kit, as the rear seat can be moved forwards for travelling to maximise the loadspace (and bring passengers in the back nearer to the driver); then, when camping, the rear seat can be moved backwards to maximise living space – and both front seats can swivel to face the rear to create a sociable lounge for four people. For an added touch of luxury, all seats are upholstered in leather.

This campervan is also easy to drive and park anywhere. It is 4.95m long and 1.98m high, so will fit in most car parks and parking spaces, making it ideal to drive to work every day, to the shops or off on a roadtrip adventure. To make travelling even easier, it comes with sat-nav, cab air conditioning and a powerful 120bhp, 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine.

The prize draw will open from 4pm on Tuesday 10th November 2020 and close at 2pm on 23rd November 2020. Full terms and conditions, and details of how to enter the competition are available HERE

David Elliott, CEO and founder of Wellhouse Leisure commented: “With the increase in interest in staycations and campervans this year, there will be a lot of people wanting to win the Toyota Proace Matino, so we are delighted to support BBC Children in Need’s 2020 Appeal. This ‘campervan and staycation goodies’ prize, and the amount of money it will raise, will change children and young people’s lives!”
