After a successful Peterborough Show at the end of July, two weeks later a similar event was held at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern and we have events in Somerset, Hampshire and Lincoln to look forward to in September.
The Malvern Show
Usually the Western Show comes with plenty of Country Music, Line Dancing and Wild West re-enactments but this year it became the ‘Motorhome and Campervan Sale’.
With plenty of accessory stands well spaced out and regular hand sanitation stations it definitely had a different look.
Despite the new title for the show, the one thing in comparative short supply was in fact used motorhomes and campervans, as over the previous couple of months our industry has seen a mini boom.
It seems given the difficulties with foreign travel at the moment everyone who has ever thought of the possibility of owning a Caravan or Motorhome has been out and snapped up virtually all the available stock.
Some highlights from the show —–
In fact, the night before the show we stayed at a delightful Brit Stop – The Red Lion at Cradley. Lovely meal, pleasant garden and friendly hosts. Five other motorhomes for company.
On to the Three Counties Showground….
Parked up for three nights on Friday morning on a huge socially distanced level pitch and into the show.
First stand we come across was AS Bikes. Regular visitors to the shows will know that Pete and his family have been exhibiting for umpteen years always offering helpful advise, sorting out any repairs for you and hopefully selling you one of their great quality, but budget priced electric bikes.
I think the star at this show was the three wheel version of the Electrobike, the Electrotrike. Folding away to not much bigger than its two wheeled cousin it makes for a great ride.
Next round was the biggest ever stand I have seen with comfy bed at a show.
Sleep Master Therapy were showing off six models from their vast range of Therapy systems designed to assist you with all sorts of muscle problems.

Next up, right beside one of the many Hand Sanitiser stations was M and C displaying their range of excellently priced Rimor Motorhomes. A few for immediate delivery, but also taking orders for Spring 2021.
Steven and Kerry Pritchard were looking after their customers with lots of help and advice as usual.
Another huge stand was that of CareAvan, the Refurbishment Specialists showing their vast array of upholstery, carpets, seats, flooring, curtains, blinds AND Campervan conversions.
George Grassick was run off his feet with the ever present volume of enquiries.
A brand new product was to be found on the Puncture Control/ AirRide stand. A 12 volt hair dryer that actually works.
Powered via the blown air heating ducts found in virtually every caravan or motorhome, these Ixoo hairdryers were making their show debut.
