Abbey Wood Club Campsite

Open to caravans, motorhomes, campervans, campers and glampers, the Abbey Wood Club Campsite feels positively rural and yet there are shops and great railway connections into central London within easy walking distance. Crossrail’sbrand new Elizabeth line will start running from 24 May, with trains every five minutes, meaning visitors staying at the campsite can get into Paddington in just 29 minutes. Plus, nearby Greenwich offers its own blend of fascinating attractions, including the famous observatory and National Maritime Museum.

Crystal Palace Club Campsite

Offering touring and camping pitches, this campsite is ideally situated for visitors who are keen to visit the capital and all its attractions. The number 3 bus departs from near the campsite regularly and goes into London via Brixton, Lambeth Bridge and Trafalgar Square, terminating at Oxford Street. Crystal Palace Park offers a range of half term activities, such as a dinosaur trail, children’s farm, and boating lake. Alderstead Heath Club Campsite

Another one for tourers, this campsite is only 30 minutes from central London, thanks to the frequent train service into Kings Cross. Plus, the closest town to the campsite is Welwyn Garden City, built soon after the First World War as part of the Ebenezer Howard’s Garden City movement and one of the finest examples of modern town planning. Its rich history is evident in such artefacts as a Roman Bath preserved in a steel vault under the nearby A1, making it a great educational day out with the kids.

Gatwick Club Campsite

For campers and tourers, this is the perfect campsite for those wanting to explore the treasures of West Sussex – and plane spotters. The colourful and lively coastal town of Brighton isn’t far, offering fun for all the family. Neighbouring Surrey also provides a wealth of potential, such as Horley’s historic town centre just a stone’s throw away.

Bearsted Club Campsite
