Timberland Awards & Wedding Bells.

Wedding bells and two awards have marked a busy couple of months for Timberland Motorhomes’ Production Manager, Lee Sowerby.

The celebrations started with Timberland Motorhomes winning the prestigious Caravan Club's Motor Caravan Design & Drive Award for their design and production of the Timberland Endeavour XI

This was followed by Lee receiving the highest accolade at the North Lincolnshire Business Awards ceremony – SME Manager of the Year. The Small and Medium-sized Enterprise award is the hardest fought category and is designed to recognise managers ability to influence the successful management of employees and the benefits to the company. Lee was rewarded for his conscientiousness, dedication and professionalism and swept the board.

After picking up the trophy Lee paid tribute to his boss, Kevin Cain. He said: "I am delighted to have won, and I have got to mention Kevin for his support and influence. It has been like an adopted father and son scenario.  I have to pay respect to Kevin."

Judges heard of his amazing attention to detail in the factory, excellent training and enthusiasm, as well as high respect of colleagues and customers alike.

And all this was followed a week later with wedding bells when Lee tied the knot with his partner Nicola in a ceremony held close to their home.
