AUTOVAN is based in Dorset 8 miles from Poole. Founded in 1993 we specialise in repairs and modifications to all vehicles and provide a unique mail order and parts service.
REPAIRS & CONVERSIONS: We have a large workshop with fully trained staff able to undertake both large and small repairs, refurbishments and modifications to all motorhomes, caravans and leisure vehicles. Insurance repairs are our speciality and we can arrange for chassis bodywork repairs and servicing as well.
PARTS & ACCESSORIES: We have in stock an extensive range of parts in our Shop and can supply many parts that the average Caravan Shop will never stock. Expert advice and assistance is always available for the DIY enthusiast.
MAIL ORDER SERVICE: We can deliver all parts through our UK and Worldwide mail order service. Just one call will ensure that the correct parts are identified swiftly.
SERVICE CENTRE: We are an approved Service Centre for Explorer, Swift, Coachman, Lunar, ABI, Bailey, Adria, Fleetwood manufacturers and Alko, Truma, Dometic/Electrolux, Waeco, Thetford and many other parts manufacturers. Motorhome and Caravan annual inspections are carried out daily to all makes of vehicles to comply with all manufacturers warranty terms.
DISABLED CONVERSIONS: We have extensive knowledge of converting motorhomes and caravans to suit any customers specific needs including the fitting of wide entrance doors, modifying internal furniture layouts, installing special washroom facilities and fitting wheel chair access lifts and ramps. We also convert and manufacture complete vehicles to special layouts.
DRIVERITE AIR SUSPENSION: Autovan are the UK importers for the Firestone Driverite air suspension system that is suitable for large and small motorhomes. There is even a system for 4x4s. All of the kits have been designed to be easily fitted with no drilling required and can have air gauges and compressor kit added as optional extras.
