Motorhomes of ExcellenceAuto-Sleepers Group merges with SEA Group
Ian Capes, Chief Executive Officer of Auto-Sleepers Group formally announced that the company has merged with European motorhome conglomerate SEA Group. The merger kicks off a major expansion plan for the UK division of the company, now called Auto-Sleepers Holdings Ltd and is expected to facilitate strong growth for the existing AutoSleepers Group companies.
The Italian based SEA Group has motorhome manufacturing and retailing operations across Western Europe. It is best known in the UK for its Mobilvetta, Elnagh and McLouis brands. It also manufactures the Miller, Joint, Dream and SEA brands. Total output for the new combined group will be in the region of 13,000 motorhomes per annum.
The Auto-Sleepers Group currently comprises the Auto-Sleeper and Orian motorhome brands and the Marquis Motorhomes dealer network, A new division of Auto-Sleepers Holdings Ltd called SEA UK will import a variety of SEA Group brands excluding Elnagh and McLouis, these two brands will continue to be imported exclusively by the existing franchise holder.
"The new group's aim is to be both the largest manufacturer and the largest retailer of motorhomes in the UK and mainland Europe within five years" says Ian Capes. "To achieve this we will develop our current brands as rapidly as possible."
