First Exclusive Pictures of Auto-Trail's New Compact Leisure Vehicle

Posted: 09 May 2013

The new compact leisure vehicle is based upon the latest Euro 5 Fiat Ducato with standard 130 bhp engine. The 150 and 180 bhp engine upgrades and Fiat comfortmatic' gearbox will be cost options.

This new Auto-Trail range will incorporate a very high level of standard specification and will be positioned at the higher end of the compact Motorhome market. Thanks to the high level of insulation, this is truly a leisure vehicle for all seasons.

Generous payloads are guaranteed thanks to the use of the Fiat 3500 kg base vehicle. Other key safety and comfort features included as standard are cab air conditioning, ABS braking systems, ABD (electronic brake force distribution), cruise control, driver and passenger airbags, electric windows, fully adjustable swivel driver and passenger seats and a full size spare wheel.

The unique exterior styling is created by the fitting of exclusive flush fitting double glazed privacy windows and the Auto-Trail panoramic "skyline" roof light. The raised GRP roof allows for double floor technology to be used, incorporating slide out under floor storage drawers. Other standard features include solar panel, integrated wind out awning, fully moulded toilet shower room, drawer refrigerator, 4kw gas / 220v Truma Combi heater, full oven and external BBQ and shower points.

Throughout our thirty plus years of manufacturing luxury leisure vehicles, it has always been our objective to provide customers with as many choices as possible, therefore a series of cost optional packs will be available to allow owners to customise their own Motorhome and these will include: The Sport-line pack, which features low level LED daytime running lights, external colour change from high gloss 'Arctic" white to metallic "Carbon Black". It will also feature chrome trims to the exterior handles and the rear number plate housing assembly. The Media pack, which includes touch screen radio, satellite navigation and large integrated TV monitor. Other options will include, alloy wheels, stainless steel front, rear and side running bars, leisure chairs and optional automotive style upholstery choices.

The first of three layouts will be unveiled in July, with layouts two and three following on soon into the 2014 season.

The model range name, full detailed specification, layouts and prices will be released in July 2013.
