STOPOVER'S EUROPE
France has an excellent network of Aires de Services which are stop overs for Motorhomes or Camping Cars as they are referred to in Europe. Quite often they have free services or will have a small charge of a few euros. There are many different types of Aires but the ones of most importance to Motorhomes are places where you can fill your water tanks, dump your grey water ,empty your toilets and throw out all your rubbish. Generally speaking you can stay overnight and sometimes up to two or three days depending on the local regulation’s.

"Aire Communales" are recognised as the best value as the local community usually run them to encourage trade into their village’s or town’s
Germany also has the same facility as in France but they are known as Stellplatze or Entsorgungs stations.
Italy also has a good choice of stopovers.
Austria does not cater for Motorhomes except on authorised camp site’s.
