MMC - Motorhome Sales

MMC – Midgley Motor Caravans – is a family business established by John Midgley Snr. in 1936.  It is now being run by his son, John, and his son and daughter William and Kate.

MMC, based in Skipton, Yorkshire,  is no stranger to motor caravans as we held the VW franchise in the 1960’s with the Devon and Dormobile on the VW Transporter and later in the 70’s and 80’s with Toyota Danbury and Rio Grand. In fact our family have been motorcaravanners ever since.

In later years, however, we became more involved with the sale of cars and 4x4’s, finally returning to motorhomes last year. 

We are now main agents for TEC, Itineo and Fendt.  As we have been involved in commercial van sales for many years, we will also be looking at in-van conversions in the near future.

Our long-established workshops specialise in the repair and service of vans and 4x4’s and we are now creating a new workshop which will cater for motorhome repairs and servicing up to 5 tonnes plus a Class 7 MOT Centre. This will be fully functional by February 2008.

Our past success has been based on being big enough to cope but small enough to care.
