4th-6th July 2008 LINCOLN Midsummer Music & Leisure Show

The Midsummer Music & Leisure Show will be staged on the Lincolnshire Showground, Lincoln over the weekend of the 4th 5th 6th July 2008 .

The highlight of previous shows has been the Saturday evening’s stunning open-air concert which in the past has included performances from the likes of Dave Dee from Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Titch; Tony Crane from the Merseybeats; Mike Pender - the voice of the Searchers; Wayne Fontana of Wayne Fontana and The Mind Benders plus Derek Franks from the Casuals - all singing their hits from the 60s.  In addition  Boney M featuring Maizie Williams, followed by The Illegal Eagles with their tribute to rock legend The Eagles.  The main ring can be seen packed out with revellers and many of them got well into the party spirit by dancing and singing along with all the very popular acts.

This show is different in format to the many existing outdoor motorhome & leisure shows being centred around an open-air concert on Saturday evening with an extensive outdoor leisure orientated trade area open during the day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  The majority of visitors to the show brought along their motorhome, caravan or tent and stayed for the weekend, there were many organised club rallies as well as independent campers.

Visitors to the show will have the added attraction of the new Park & Holiday Homes Show which was staged as a ‘show within a show’.  This new feature showcased some of the main manufacturers in the market and gave visitors a great opportunity to see just how luxurious park homes have become!
